Call #100 - Live Burn

C.C. Camp VFD Station 65 assisted Boonville VFD Yadkin County Station 13 with a live burn training exercise on Saturday August 23. Station 65 Pumper-Tanker 2 was used to shuttle water to the scene. State Road Station 79 and several other stations participated. Thanks to Boonville VFD for allowing us to participate in the training with them.

Call #99 - Lawnmower Fire

C.C. Camp Station 65 was called to the scene of a lawnmower fire last Friday Afternoon. Station 65 Engine 2 and several personnel responded to the scene.

Call #98 - Community Service

C.C. Camp VFD Personnel provided traffic control for the open house for the new Fairfield Inn at the intersection of C.C. Camp Road & Interstate 77 this afternoon. Station 65 Brush 1 & Brush 2 responded to the scene.

Call #97 - Fire Alarm

C.C. Camp VFD Station 65 was called to this AM to assist State Road Station 79 on a residential fire alarm on Country Club Drive in State Road. Jot-Um-Down Station 66 was also called to assist. All units were cancelled enroute by Central Communications.

Call #96 - Fire Alarm in Commercial Building

C.C. Camp VFD Station 65 responded to a Fire Alarm in a Commercial Structure this AM. The first personnel arriving on the scene did a quick site survey and found that the site consisted of a single story metal and wood frame structure with nothing showing. Station 65 responded with 65 Engine 1, 65 Engine 2, Pumper- Tanker 1 & 2 and several personnel. Other personnel were standing by at the stations. Station 79 & 74 responded with tankers and were cancelled enroute.

Call #95 - 10-50 PI

C.C. Camp VFD ran a call yesterday afternoon late involving only one vehicle that had struck a tree. Station 65 Engine 1, 65 Pumper-Tanker 2 and several personnel responded to the scene while other personnel stood by at the stations.

Call #94 - Smoke in Residence

C.C. Camp VFD Station 65 responded to a reported house with smoke inside one of the bedrooms. Station 65 responded with Engine 1, Engine 2 and Tanker 2. Mutual Aid Stations were State Road Station 79 and South Surry Station 74. Their trucks were cancelled enroute.

Call #93 - 10-50 PD

C.C. Camp VFD Station 65 was called to the scene of a 10-50 PD last night on Highway 268 in front of Little Richmond Baptist Church. A road tractor pulling a 53′ dry van trailer had stopped in the roadway and while trying to back up he backed into a vehicle that had stopped behind him. There were no injuries on the scene. Station 65 Engine 2 & Pumper-Tanker 2 responded to the scene along with several 65 personnel.

C.C. Camp VFD Station 65 & Central Surry VFD Station 77 were called to a 10-50 on Interstate 77 close to the 92 Mile Marker One Mile South of the Dobson Exit. The first units arriving on the scene cancelled station 65 members & apparatus enroute.
